Nickelback hit back at Royal Blood over Donald Trump/Hillary Clinton comparison

Nickelback have hit back at Royal Blood after the Brighton duo compared the US Presidential candidates to Chad Kroeger and co.

Late on Friday night Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher took to Twitter to joke “@realDonaldTrump + @HillaryClinton = @Nickelback” along with an emoji of the American flag (seemingly overlooking the fact Nickelback are Canadian).

Retaliating to the unprovoked dig, the ever thick-skinned Nickelback well and truly trumped Royal Blood by writing: “Nickelback jokes are like @royalblooduk, they were a lot cooler a couple years ago. Don't drink and tweet fellas. Stay safe. XO.”
