My Chemical Romance announce four more reunion shows for 2020

Fresh from reforming last week for a special show in Los Angeles this Christmas, My Chemical Romance have announced three more reunion shows for 2020.
Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way and Frank Iero’s first confirmed shows of 2020 comes when they headline Download Festival Australia on Friday 20th March at Melbourne Showgrounds and Saturday 21st March at Parramatta Park in Sydney.
Four days later on Wednesday 25th March, My Chemical Romance will headline a huge outdoor show at The Outer Fields at Western Springs in New Zealand with Jimmy Eat World, Midnight Youth and Miss June also on the bill.
The fourth gig of the year comes when they headline Download Festival Japan at Makuhari Messe on Sunday 29th March.
UK fans of My Chemical Romance are, of course, hoping the band will announce dates on these shores very soon.
MCR’s comeback show at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Friday 20th December unsurprisingly sold out in a matter of minutes when it went on sale last Friday.
Soon afterwards, My Chemical Romance sent a heartfelt message to fans thanking them for their support. They wrote: “It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.”

Announcing their split in March 2013, My Chemical Romance insisted they will never die.
Gerard Way wrote: “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band—it is an idea.”
