My Chemical Romance announce new June 2020 UK concert

My Chemical Romance have announced a new UK show for this summer at the Eden Sessions concert series in Cornwall.
Taking place on Tuesday 16th June 2020, the show at The Eden Project precedes My Chemical Romance’s completely sold out three-night residency at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.
With a capacity of just 6,000 people, the Eden Sessions gig is a chance to see My Chemical Romance in relatively intimate surroundings. In contrast, the Stadium MK gigs each have a capacity of 30,500 MCR fans.
“It is incredibly exciting to be able to announce a band of this stature,” enthuses Rita Broe, Managing Director of Eden Sessions Ltd.
“My Chemical Romance playing our stage this summer promises to be a night no-one lucky enough to be here will ever forget.”
Tickets will be extremely high in demand when they go on sale at 5pm on Wednesday 19th February.
Since its inception in 2002, the Eden Sessions concert series has boasted performances from blink-182, Motörhead, Oasis, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Muse, Frank Turner, Amy Winehouse and many more.
Alongside My Chemical Romance, the eclectic Eden Sessions 2020 line-up already features Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Script, Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.
My Chemical Romance confirmed their reformation after six-and-a-half long years away on 31st October when they announced a reunion show at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles for Friday 20th December.
Unsurprisingly, the triumphant Los Angeles gig sold out in nanoseconds and the following week, My Chemical Romance announced additional shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Announced in January, My Chemical Romance's three UK concerts at Stadium MK all sold out within minutes of going on sale.
