Muse have recorded three new songs in London including a ‘heavy’ track
Epic news!
Teignmouth’s prodigal sons Muse have been laying down new music in the studio in London.
Alongside gearing up for their epic North American tour with support from Thirty Seconds To Mars, the trio have recorded three brand new songs including one that embraces a ‘heavy’ musical direction.
A Muse fan called Antonio Ludovico has shared photos of himself with the band outside Air Studios in Hampstead where he got the scoop from Matt Bellamy and Dominic Howard.
He wrote: "Matt and Dom just told me they're recording new material. They recorded 3 new songs at moment, one is quite heavy and the others 2 not really Plus few bits for the tour with 30STM."
Muse have made no secret of the fact they’ve been in the studio as their social channels have been awash with pics since the turn of 2017, however, this is the first time it’s been revealed that they’re recording fresh songs.
Their legions of loyal fans will now be hoping these three songs signal that work on the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Drones’ is well underway.
After wrapping up their North American tour, Muse return to the UK to headline Reading and Leeds Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
