Muse to headline Reading & Leeds Festival 2017
Architects, While She Sleeps, Against The Current and more confirmed
Muse have been confirmed as first blockbuster headliner of Reading & Leeds Festival 2017.
The Teignmouth trio’s headline set at the dual hosted event will be a UK Festival exclusive. It’s their third headline slot at Reading & Leeds following their 2006 and 2011 performances.
Muse said: "We’re very excited to be playing Reading and Leeds again. More news about our plans for 2017 coming in the new year."
Reading & Leeds head honcho Melvin Benn added: “I’m thrilled to be able to announce Muse as the first headliner for Reading and Leeds 2017. Their incredible live show promises to be an unforgettable performance - we have so much more to announce and I can’t wait to reveal the rest of the line up.”
Also confirmed across the weekend are the legendary At The Drive-In, the mighty Architects (in a UK festival exclusive), Poughkeepsie purveyors of pop rock Against The Current and metalcore heroes While She Sleeps.
Other acts from across the music spectrum in the first wave of announcements are Major Lazer, Bastille, Tory Lanez, Glass Animals, Andy C and Danny Brown.
