Muse announce new album ‘Drones’ & intimate UK tour

It’s released just in time for Download Festival

Muse have announced full details of their eagerly-awaited seventh studio album ‘Drones’.

Co-produced by Matthew, Chris and Dom together with the legendary Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, the album lands in the UK on 8th June and is preceded by the single ‘Dead Inside’ on 23rd March.

The album comes with this powerful cover created by American artist Matt Mahurin.

Frontman Matt Bellamy said: "To me, 'Drones' are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones.

“This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors."

The band will premiere the first track from the album, ‘Psycho’, at 6pm tonight (12th March) and it will be available worldwide immediately for anyone who pre-orders the album from 7.30pm.

In yet more exciting news, the band hit the road on an ultra intimate Psycho UK tour beginning this Sunday. They play:
