Metallica parody Queen in fashion shoot for luxury menswear brand
See sharp photos from the shoot
Metallica have teamed up with Italian luxury menswear powerhouse Brioni to front a new fashion campaign.
Looking sharp in £5,000 suits, in one of the images James, Lars, Kirk and Robert directly parody the timeless opening part of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ video.
There’s also a photo of the band in fetching matching white suits plus separate profile shots of all four Metallica members.
The fashion shoot was the brainchild of Brioni’s new creative director Justin O’Shea and the photos were taken by Zackery Michael in San Francisco earlier this month.
Unveiling them on their official website, they wrote: “We are beyond thrilled to have been invited to be the face of Italian luxury menswear powerhouse Brioni as they kick off their first creative campaign under the direction of newly appointed creative director, über cool style star Justin O’Shea.
“The black and white Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" inspired photos were shot last month in San Francisco by photographer Zackery Michael. We’re sporting Bespoke Brioni suits and tuxedos as well as sunglasses from their new eyewear collection.”
