Metallica: Live at Webster Hall
Published 2nd May 2017

Ahead of their North American tour kicking off in Baltimore next week, Metallica have unveiled details of a vinyl only live album.

As the title suggests, ‘Live At Webster Hall’ was recorded at their Fifth Member fanclub show at the New York venue on 27th September 2016 and features all 15 songs performed on the night including the first ever live outing of ‘Moth Into Flame’.

Mastered and mixed by the team behind Metallica’s ‘Hardwired… To Self Destruct’, the strictly limited edition album is being released as a three LP set and is pressed on 140-gram vinyl. The release also includes a digital download of the show.

Alongside ‘Moth Into Flame’, other classics performed on the night included ‘Master of Puppets’, ‘One’, ‘Enter Sandman’ and, of course, the ultimate ‘Seek & Destroy’. Their covers of ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ and Budgie’s ‘Breadfan’ also featured.

‘Live At Webster Hall’ is released via Blackened Recordings this Friday (5th May) and is available to pre-order from Metallica’s official website now costing $39.99 (around £31).
