Mastodon Unleash Twerking Packed Video For ‘The Motherload’
"Take a deep breath and embrace magnificence,” they tell fans
Metal titans Mastodon have poked fun at the twerking phenomenon in their new video for ‘The Motherload’.
Juxtaposing the dingy atmospherics and visuals of macabre things like animal skulls, the video sees the band unleash an army of butt-shaking twerking dancers who try to out –twerk each other in front of the camera.
As if to pre-empt the backlash from some of their fans, Mastodon wrote on Twitter last night: “Ye who take #TheMotherload music video too seriously- take a deep breath and embrace magnificence.”

Available to download right now, ‘The Motherload’ is the latest offshoot from Mastodon’s Top 10 album Once More 'Round the Sun.
