Against Me!, Marmozets, Royal Blood & 15 More For Download Festival

See who else is heading to Donington this summer

Published 24th Mar 2014

With just 81 days to go until the Donington rock institution kicks off, Download organisers have added 18 fresh acts to the impressive bill!

Leading the fresh wave of names are the mighty Against Me!, Brighton’s prodigal sons Royal Blood, melodic math-punksters Marmozets and Geordie rockers The Wildhearts 20 years on from their first Donington appearance. Wildhearts guitarist CJ said: “Well they just can't get rid of us. It's only 20 years since we first played Donington and in 2008 they turned the power off on us. Who knows what will happen this year...Bring it on!”

Marmozets said in a joint statement: “We’re looking forward to playing at Download 2014. It was a blast last time and it opened a few doors up for us as a band.”

Also performing across the weekend are Chevelle, Arthemis, Orange Goblin, Lawnmower Deth, Page 44, The Dirty Youth, VAMPS (JPN), Kid Karate, The Magnus Puto, No Hot Ashes, Colt 45, Drones and Tax the Heat.

Headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith, Download also boasts peformances from Alter Bridge, Trivium, Fall Out Boy, Bring Me The Horizon, Within Temptation, Rob Zombie, The Offspring, Bad Religion, Status Quo, Opeth, Behemoth, Twisted Sister, The Pretty Reckless and many more.

Weekend tickets are on sale from kerrangradio.co.uk/tickets right now. Day tickets go on sale from 9am this coming Friday (28th March).

Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace was our very special guest on The Hijack last week. Listen to it again right here.
