Marilyn Manson quashes 'beef' with Justin Bieber
Marilyn reveals texts exchanged between himself and the pop star

Marilyn Manson has quashed the rumours about his apparent beef with Justin Bieber in an interview promoting his upcoming album ‘Heaven Upside Down’.
It all began about a week ago when Manson hit out at the Canadian pop star, explaining: “I ran into (Bieber) in some fancy bar where a lot of celebrities - a word that I despise - go".
“I sit down, and I say, ‘Hey, so you wore my shirt and everything onstage.’ He was one of those touchy people that hit you when they talk, and he comes up to about d--- height. Then he goes, ‘I made you relevant again'.
This was in response to Bieber wearing a t-shirt on tour last year that sported Marilyn Manson's face on the front of it. It made the headlines when the t-shirt went on sale via his official website for a whopping £110 each.
Talking with Howard Stern, the Antichrist Superstar handed over his phone to the radio host who proceeded to read out a text conversation between Manson and Bieber live on air.
"Bro, it's Bieber what's up with that article? I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction. Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts I'm so sorry,"
"Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that if I came off as an a--hole or was just an a--hole, I'm sorry".
Manson replied with just, "words". The quip about making him relevant again was what got to Manson as he went on to tell Stern, "It was just a cocky little thing to say,". The texts continued as he followed up with, "That the interview was exaggerated. You were just you being you. No beef here."
Stern then quizzed Manson about the beef, asking if he really had an issue with the Biebs.
"I just said 'you were just being you,' which could mean you're just being an a--hole, or whatever," Manson chuckled to himself.
"Honestly, I totally thought we hit it off," Bieber replied. "Again, my bad, if I was an a--hole that wasn't my intention. Just want you to know that".
Pouncing on this opportunity to mess with the media and no doubt drum up talk about his new album, Manson countered with, "We are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let's turn it upside-down and f--- the press and do something together. It will be the best. And don't apologize, you weren't an a--hole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn't out to get you".
Leading with the scathing single ‘WE KNOW WHERE YOU F---ING LIVE’, Marilyn’s tenth studio album ‘Heaven Upside Down’ is released on Friday 6th October.
