Marilyn Manson putting finishing touches to 11th studio album

Shock rock extraordinaire, Marilyn Manson, has surprised his legions of fans by announcing he’s putting the finishing touches to his 11th studio album.
Marilyn Manson – real name Brian Hugh Warner – took to Instagram over the weekend to post a photo of himself sans make-up and wearing a Beanie hat.
He captioned it: “On my way to @shooterjennings to finish my new album.”
It’s reported that Manson’s follow-up to October 2017’s ‘Heaven Upside Down’ will see the light of day before the end of 2019.
Manson and Shooter Jennings previously joined forces in 2016 for a cover of David Bowie's ‘Cat People (Putting Out Fire)’ for Jennings's ‘Countach (For Giorgio)’ LP, a covers collection featuring songs by electronic-music pioneer Giorgio Moroder.
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, 39-year-old Shooter Jennings is a record producer and also a distinguished solo artist in his own right releasing eight studio albums in the outlaw country genre.

Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan last month confirmed Jennings is producing his solo album and was keen to praise the producer.
McKagan enthused: "Shooter has a brilliant mind, and a seemingly endless musical catalogue bouncing around in his head that he’s ready to tap into at any moment.”
He added: “(Jennings’) ability to get real and authentic sounds in the studio are second to none, and making this record was one of the most inspiring musical experiences of my career.”
Marilyn Manson’s last studio album, ‘Heaven Upside Down’, was produced by acclaimed musician, producer and composer Tyler Bates. They also collaborated on 2015’s ‘The Pale Emperor’.
Manson tours North America throughout the summer on the sprawling Hell Never Dies Tour 2019 with his good chum and kindred spirit Rob Zombie.
