Sleepwave, the new band from former Underoath frontman Spencer Chamberlain, are streaming their debut album ‘Broken Compass’ in its entirety.

The brainchild of Spencer alongside his kindred spirit and band mate Stephen Bowman, ‘Broken Compass’ was produced by David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, All Time Low) and sees the duo delve into highly emotional and driving musical realms.

In fact, we at Kerrang! Radio were so impressed by their music, that last week that we made them the inaugural Fresh Blood Featured Artist Of The Week.

Speaking about their divisive sounds, Chamberlain said: “Sleepwave is heavy and aggressive, but there’s a lot more to explore.

“There’s a sombre overtone to the album, there’s a lot of sadness, but there is also some hope. Not everyone will love Sleepwave… but if you are upsetting people, they're still responding emotionally all the same.”

Listen to ‘Broken Compass’ below ahead of its release next Monday (15th September).

Sleepwave support Bring Me The Horizon at their huge Wembley Arena show on Friday 5th December. The last remaining tickets are on sale from kerrangradio.co.uk/tickets now.
