LISTEN: Of Mice & Men premiere heavy cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘Money’
This is incredible
Last updated 12th Jan 2018
Of Mice & Men have unleashed a their gloriously heavy cover of Pink Floyd’s seminal song ‘Money’.
Unlike Avenged Sevenfold’s tender and faithful interpretation of ‘Wish You Were Here’, which premiered last October, Of Mice & Men have given 1973 anthem ‘Money’ a brutal twist complete with voluminous riffs and guttural screams from Aaron Pauley.
Feast your ears on the track here:
‘Money’ is lifted from Of Mice & Men’s new studio album ‘Defy’, which is released on Friday 19th January; their first full-length album since the departure of Austin Carlile.
Also boasting the anthems ‘Unbreakable’, ‘Back to Me’ and ‘Warzone’, ‘Defy’ was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Skillet, The All-American Rejects) and mixed by Chris Lord Alge (Green Day, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Rise Against).
The ‘Defy’ track-listing is as follows:
1) Defy
2) Instincts
3) Back to M
4) Sunflower
5) Unbreakable
6) Vertigo
7) Money
8) How Will You Live
9) On The Inside
10) Warzone
11) Forever YDG'n
12) If We Were Ghosts
