Liam Gallagher Sticks The Boot Into Daft Punk
He claims he could write 'Get Lucky' in an hour
Never one to sit on the fence, Liam Gallagher has verbally mauled Daft Punk.
The Beady Eye vocalist was asked to share his thoughts on Daft Punk’s chart-conquering smash ‘Get Lucky’ when he stuck the boot in.
“I’d write 'Get Lucky' in a f*ing hour,” he told Sony MU’s streaming service. “I don’t know what the fuss is about, you know what I mean? It’s like fk off, give me a f**king break.”
Not done with his expletive strew tirade, 40-year-old Liam turned his attention to the French duo’s robot helmets.
“I am not going to have people wear disguises,” he continued. “Take your f**king helmet off. Let’s see what you look like sans helmet, whatever you’re called.”
Daft Punk’s new album ‘Random Access Memories’ is already the fastest selling album of 2013 having sold 133,000 copies since it went on sale on Monday.
Beady Eye release their second album ‘BE’ on 10th June.
