Korn’s Jonathan Davis announces Download Festival warm-up shows
He plays Manchester and London
Ahead of his eagerly anticipated Download Festival performance, nu-metal icon Jonathan Davis will play two headline shows.
The Korn singer will play Manchester Academy on Wednesday 6th June and London O2 Academy Islington on Thursday 7th June.
All three UK shows support the release of Jonathan’s debut solo album ‘Black Labyrinth’, which lands via Sumerian Records on Friday 25th May.
Tickets to the Manchester and London shows go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 13th April.
“It took 10 years, and I’m so glad this project is finally out. It is something that is very close to me and I’m excited for the world to finally hear it. This time, I’m pulling something out of the audience,” Jonathan Davis says of ‘Black Labyrinth’.
“I’ve bared my soul for so f---ing long, I thought it’d be really cool to pull listeners in a different direction for once.
“I’m taking them out of that dark place and into somewhere that’s spiritual, positive, and makes them really think. It’s just art. I’ve changed lives with Korn, but I wanted to open minds with this s---”
