  1. Last year Frank formed the hardcore punk side-project Möngöl Hörde. Featuring Ben Dawson on drums and Sleeping Souls keyboardist Matt Nasir on guitar, the band harks back to Frank’s grittier musical past but with an even darker twist. As Frank explains, the track ‘Tapeworm Uprising’ is about “Natalie Portman's tapeworm using her as a glove puppet to lead an uprising in Hollywood.” Awesome!

  1. Frank’s 2011 album ‘England Keep My Bones’ takes its title from the history play King John by a certain William Shakespeare. Explaining the thinking behing the title, Frank told Mind Equals Blown: “I knew that the album was, for the most part, about mortality, and about Englishness. Shakespeare seemed like a good place to go hunting for some pearls of wisdom, and with a little help from my friend Ben we came across this one, and it just seemed to fit the work really well.”
  1. Frank’s backing band The Sleeping Souls take their name from the lines “In the pathways of the sleeping soul of the country / We are electric pulses / The sleeping soul of the country” in his ‘England Keep My Bones’ track ‘I Am Disappeared’.
