The Great Escape Festival has just got a whole lot more heavy...

Our very own Alex Baker is curating a stage at the Brighton event, bringing you a whole load of Fresh Blood bands, live!

The Kerrang! Fresh Blood Stage - The Haunt, Saturday 21st May SHVPES As Lions Muncie Girls Black Foxxes

Birmingham residents SHVPES, are a group making a seismic impact, adding a punchy mix of hardcore and hard rock to proceedings.

As Lions - fronted by the crown prince of metal Austin Dickinson (former Rise to Remain singer and son of Iron Maiden’s talismanic frontman Bruce) - bring their melodic but muscular post hardcore to The Great Escape for the first time.

Muncie Girls - This Exeter trio fuse perfect punk melodies with the unique perspective and lyricism of lead woman Lande Hekt.

Fellow Exeter folk, Black Foxxes have also been turning heads with their stripped-back, emotionally raw rock outbursts and will now bring their intense new sound to TGE 2016.

The Great Escape Festival runs from 19th - 21st May in Brighton, and contains over 400 up and coming artists across 35 venues in the city.

You can grab day, weekend and young person tickets for The Great Escape Festival, from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now!
