Jona Weinhofen Leaves Bring Me The Horizon
Plus the band announce details of a UK tour
In a big news double whammy, Bring Me The Horizon have today announced details of a UK tour and confirmed the departure of guitarist Jona Weinhofen.
The Sheffield metallers kick off their jaunt in Manchester on the very day their fourth studio album ‘Sempiternal’ lands on Monday 29th April.
The eight-date tour then takes in shows in Newcastle, Inverness, Glasgow, Portsmouth, Cardiff, Wolverhampton and London.
An accompanying tour press release drops the bomb about Jona’s exit from BMTH with the simple line: Jona Weinhofen is no longer in the band.
Former Worship member Jordan Fish has been recruited as the new band keyboardist.
Frontman Oli Sykes enthused about the tour: “We literally can't wait for these UK shows. It feels like we've been away for so long and to come back & play the most intimate shows we've played In a long time is so exciting”
