Jared Leto took his own decapitated head to the Met Gala
A strong look

Thirty Seconds To Mars singer Jared Leto took his own decapitated head to the star-studded Met Gala in New York last night (6th May).
The annual Met Gala charity event is held each May and celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's latest exhibition, with attendees asked to dress to match a specific theme.
Last night’s theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion and guests were implored to dress as flamboyantly and theatrically as possible.
Embracing the theme brilliantly, rock icon and Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto turned, erm, heads when he rocked up on the pink carpet wearing an elegant red outfit with diamond embellishments.
Completing the look was his own replica chopped off head, which apparently took six months to make.
The decapitated head look was in fact a nod to Gucci’s autumn/winter 2018 catwalk show, where models carried their replica heads down the catwalk.
Jared Leto hits Europe this the summer for a series of festival and headline dates with Thirty Seconds To Mars.
He’s currently filming the Spider Man spin-off movie Morbius in which he stars as the titular Michael Morbius – aka Morbius, the Living Vampire. It’s scheduled to be released in summer 2020.
