Iron Maiden have unveiled the stunning video to new single Speed Of Light and, true to form, it is suitably epic!
The video is a brilliant ‘homage’ to 4 decades of video gaming, juxtaposed alongside Iron Maiden’s 40 years of incredible visuals, centering on their talisman Eddie as he travels through space & time to complete his Herculean task.
Containing elements of early platform games, beat-em-ups, and first-person shooters, see if you can spot the vast array of nods to Iron Maiden songs, and even delicious Trooper Beer!
Speed of Light was premiered this morning, and the reaction has been overwhelming to this, the first new Maiden material in five years.
Written by guitarist Adrian Smith and vocalist Bruce Dickinson, Speed of Light is taken from their new double album The Book Of Souls due for global release on 4 September 2015.
