Watch 10-year-old slay Spiritbox on America's Got Talent & sing with band in London

A 10-year-old English girl called Harper guest performed with Spiritbox in London last night (14th June) hours before her jaw-dropping performance on America’s Got Talent was broadcast stateside.

Having previously notched up 200,000 views on YouTube with her powerhouse performance of Spiritbox’s ‘Holy Roller’, Harper stepped out in front of America’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Sofía Vergara in the season 17 episode broadcast last night.

Supported by her dad Jake, Harper, from Somerset, took to the America’s Got Talent stage and launched into a glorious screaming rendition of ‘Holy Roller’ that left the judges – and millions of viewers – agape.

"She looks like a princess, but sings like a heavy metal warrior!,” said AGT alongside the YouTube clip. "Harper performs Holy Roller by Spiritbox and shocks the judges with her surprising voice."

Unsurprisingly, Harper scored three ‘Yes’ votes from the judges – with her dad adding a fourth ‘Yes’ – and she progressed through to the next round of the talent show.

Incredibly, just hours before America’s Got Talent aired, Harper joined Canadian metallers Spiritbox on stage at their second of two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Academy Islington to perform ‘Holy Roller.’

Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante tweeted afterwards: “This was honestly one of the highlights of my whole career, all of you singing with us. I just cannot express how much respect I have for @thatyellaharper’s talent and hard work, and the respect I have for her incredibly supportive family and friends.”

After denting the Top 20 with their debut album ‘Eternal Blue’ last year, ‘Spiritbox performed their first ever UK show at Download Festival on Sunday (12th June).
