Thankfully nobody was hurt

Halestorm are thankfully all unhurt after their tour bus burned down in the early hours of Thursday morning (20th January).
The rockers were sleeping in their hotel ahead of their show at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts on their co-headline trek with Evanescence when their tour bus outside caught fire.
Drummer Arejay Hale has posted a series of photos on Instagram of the devastating blaze and confirmed to fans that no one was injured.
He wrote: “Wanted to first and foremost let everyone know we are all safe, nobody was hurt, nothing of great value was destroyed but we had a bus fire last night while we were sleeping in the hotel.
“I woke up to my tour manager, Mike, calling me at 3am to make sure I wasn’t sleeping on the bus, our head of security, Steve (pictured here), heroically ran into the burning bus with a fire extinguisher to make sure nobody was sleeping in their bunk.
“According to him, as he looked under the door, the bunk hall was an inferno and he saw 15-20 foot flames rising out of the top of the bus.
“We’re all so grateful to the Worcester Fire Department @worcesterfd for their bravery, and incredibly thankful everyone is ok. To all my fellow touring people, take bus fire and all touring safety protocols seriously👍!! And of course thank all of you out there for your love and best wishes!!
“Come pandemic, snow storms and now BUS FIRES you can’t stop us no matter what life will hurl at us! See you at the next show.”
Lzzy Hale has also given this sobering account of events, saying that she and brother Arejay usually sleep on the tour bus.
She wrote: “I’ve hanging somewhere in between hysterical laughter and bursting into tears all day. Our bus caught fire last night around 3am. Nobody was hurt. But the what ifs are real. Both my little brother @arejayhale and I are notorious bus sleepers, almost always choosing the bus over hotel rooms. We have both sworn off this as of today of course.
“I’m so grateful to the Worcester fire dept. They are rockstars! And a huge thank you to our wonderful security guy Steve Barbola who braved the flames to make sure none of us were on board ( he also rescued my 1991 Les Paul Custom). Tonight we will be savoring every moment on stage like never before. The universe hasn’t found a way to get rid of us yet!!”
Halestorm also posted some images on their official Instagram account:
A few hours sharing the images on social media, Arejay posted a video of himself on stage at the DCU Center and wrote: “Post near death experience show... thank you @worcesterfd for being the real rockstars.”
Halestorm are scheduled to come to the UK in February and March for an intimate ‘An Evening With…’ tour featuring fan favourites, deep cuts and new songs.
