Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has launched a fresh stinging tirade against US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

Having compared Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in an exclusive Kerrang interview last month, at Green Day’s intimate New Jersey Starland Ballroom show on Wednesday night (28th September) Billie Joe bashed the divisive businessman turned politician.

"You guys been watching the news lately?," Billie Joe asked the 2,500 strong crowd. "What do you think of our candidates for the presidency of the United States of America? What do you think of 'New York's finest,' Mr. Donald Trump?

"No racism, no racism, no racism in this fing room, I'll tell you that right now. There is no white supremacy in this fing room right now. We are coming together, tonight here in New Jersey, to call bullst on all the f*ing politicians."

Later, during ‘Holiday’, Billie Joe change the lyrics from ‘Pulverize the Eiffel towers’ to ‘Pulverize the Trump towers.’

Boasting the storming tracks ‘Bang Bang’, ‘Revolution Radio’ and ‘Still Breathing’, Green Day’s twelfth studio album ‘Revolution Radio’ is released next Friday (7th October).

Green Day are coming to the UK in February to perform completely sold out arena shows in Leeds, Manchester and London.
