Green Day fan deciphers the name of their 12th studio album!
The band appear to give it away...
An eagle-eyed Green Day fan has apparently confirmed the name of the band’s fervently anticipated 12th studio album.
Strongly rumoured to be ‘Revolution Radio’, a fan took to Reddit yesterday to post the source code for a pop-up page on Green Day’s official website. Contained within it are the words ‘Green Day: Revolution Radio Pre-order’.
The user, chinaderm, wrote: “If you inspect the official website you will find a block of code they use for pop-ups, like the Heart Like a Hand Grenade one, that contains various countries'/regions' pre-order banners for "Revolution Radio."
In response, another Reddit user wrote: “I love half-assed security models!”
On Monday, Billie Joe Armstrong added fuel to the speculation that their record is called ‘Revolution Radio’ when he added the hashtag #revrad to an Instagram post sharing the ‘Bang Bang’ single artwork.
Arguably the most anticipated comeback in rock this year, ‘Bang Bang’ gets its premiere this coming Thursday (11th August).
