Green Day add five support acts to British Summer Time Hyde Park

Including two bands that inspired them

Green Day have added five further support acts to their epic show at British Summer Time Hyde Park.

Heading up the wave of new additions are two iconic London punk bands that musically inspired Billie Joe and co. – The Damned and The Stranglers.

Also newly confirmed are Chicago rockers The Orwells, alt-rockers Bash & Pop and former Heart Attack vocalist Jesse Malin.

The new additions all join a supporting line-up that features Rancid, Gogol Bordello, The Hives, The Living End, Beach Slang, SWMRS, Sunflower Bean and Public Access TV.

Celebrating its fifth year in 2017, BST Hyde Park also features headline performances from Phil Collins, Kings of Leon, The Killers and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
