Good Charlotte, Tonight Alive and dozens more added to Reading & Leeds Festival

Over 70 new names have been added to this summer’s Reading and Leeds Festival.

Representing the world of rock at the dual hosted festival are bands including Good Charlotte, Tonight Alive, Mastodon, Coheed and Cambria and Pulled Apart By Horses.

Good Charlotte enthused: "For us there's no better way to celebrate the GC comeback than to come do it at Reading and Leeds. Everyone's favourite festival. It will be a highlight for sure.”

Speaking about Tonight Alive’s UK Festival exclusive performance, Jenna McDougall said: "We're over the moon to be returning to our favourite rock festival this year! We're coming back for our second round of Reading and Leeds, introducing the 'Limitless’ era.”

Also confirmed across the festival’s multiple stages are Thrice, Brian Fallon, Black Foxxes, Heck, ROAM, Beach Slang, Waterparks, Nothing More, Superheaven and SWMRS.

Black Foxxes commented: “Reading and Leeds were always big festivals for us and we can’t believe we’ve gone from opening the smallest tent to the second stage in a year! Words can’t describe how stoked we are!!”

Clearly pumped, Hacktivist co-frontman Ben Marvin says: "We're so hyped about playing again this year! It’s our third time playing but this time we have our debut album out so it's gonna be the most rowdy yet. See you in the pit."

The newly confirmed acts join a mouth-watering line-up that includes headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy.

Also are on the bill are twenty one pilots, Crossfaith, Slaves, Parkway Drive, Imagine Dragons, Nothing But Thieves, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes,Sleeping with Sirens, Asking Alexandria, FVK, Creeper, Citizen, Dillinger Escape Plan, Five Finger Death Punch, State Champs,Lower Than Atlantis, Skindred, Cage The Elephant, Modern Baseball,The King BluesWakrat, Kvelertak,Dead! and the return of Eagles Of Death Metal.
