Fresh from wrapping up their rapturously received Popestar UK tour, Ghost have been unveiled as the third and final headliners of Bloodstock 2017.

Joining previously unveiled headliners Amon Amarth (Friday) and Megadeth (Sunday), Papa Emeritus III and his five Nameless Ghouls will top the Saturday night line-up at Bloodstock.

Enthusing about their headline ritual, a Nameless Ghoul said: "We are absolutely chuffed to finally be playing at the classic Bloodstock.

“Over the years we have heard so many great things about it and now, to be able to headline one of the nights, is a great honour and we are very much looking forward to it. Thank you all and see you there!"

Singer Papa Emeritus will no doubt be hoping to avoid falling off stage at Bloodstock following his painful tumble in Leeds last week.

Alongside the headliners, the following acts are already confirmed for Bloodstock: Arch Enemy, Kreator, Blind Guardian, Hatebreed, Testament, Obituary, King 810, Brujeria, Whitechapel, Skindred, Possessed, Annihilator, Municipal Waste, Hell, Decapitated, Soilwork, Chelsea Grin, Macabre, Inquisition, King Parrot, Scarab, Wintersun, Oni, Dendera, Kroh, Abhorrent Decimation, Courtesans, Wretched Soul, Bossk and Winterfylleth.

Taking place at Catton Park in Derbyshire from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th August 2017, tickets to Bloodstock are on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now.
