Gerard Way refuses to rule out a My Chemical Romance reunion
However, it’s not looking very likely

More than four years after their split**, Gerard Way has spoken about the possibility of a** My Chemical Romance reunion.
Last month, talk of a potential reunion erupted when all four members of the band were photographed together at Frank Iero’s intimate 500-capacity gig at the Troubadour in West Hollywood.
In a series of photos posted on social media, the quartet can be seen laughing and hugging each other after the show. They also leave in the same car.
Back in April, Gerard Way released two curiously titled tracks ‘Into The Cave We Wander’ and ‘Pogi’s Cavern’ on limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day. Both songs were co-written and recorded by Gerard and Ray Toro.
Now, in a fresh interview with Billboard, Gerard has been asked about the possibility of a reunion and although he refused to rule it out, it’s clear it won’t be happening some time soon.
"I wouldn't count (a reunion) out, but at the same time everybody's doing stuff in their lives now that they're really enjoying," Gerard explained.
"In some ways I don't really miss it; It had gotten so big it was very unwieldy. It took a toll on my mental life and personal life. The thing I'm happiest about right now is everybody's relationships with each other are really strong. That's more important than anything else to me."
Gerard Way’s new comic Doom Patrol Vol. 1: Brick By Brick is released Stateside today (6th June) via his Young Animal imprint with DC Comics.
