Full details of Josh Homme’s appearance on CBeebies Bedtime Story revealed
It's set to air next month
The BBC has today revealed full details about Josh Homme’s upcoming appearance on CBeebies Bedtime Story.
Six days after the Queens of the Stone Age frontman first broke the news of his slot on the show, it’s been confirmed that Josh is reading Zog, written by best-selling author Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Alex Scheffler.
First published in 2010, the book tells the story of an accident-prone dragon who vies to win a gold star with the help of a princess who would rather be a doctor.
Josh’s episode will air on CBeebies in the show’s traditional slot of 6.50pm on Friday 6th October.
The BBC has also confirmed that Josh has sat in ‘story corner’ to record two further bedtime stories that will air at a later date.
Celebrities who have previously appeared on the show include Tom Hardy, actor Chris Evans, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Damian Lewis, David Tennant, Rob Brydon, Tim Peake, Warwick Davis, Maxine Peake, James McAvoy and David Hasselhoff.
Boasting the single ‘The Way You Used To Do’, Queens of the Stone Age's chart-topping seventh studio album 'Villains' is out now.
