It just keeps getting better
Last updated 22nd Feb 2017
Just when you think the Slam Dunk Festival line-up can’t possibly get any better, they go and pull a smorgasbord of incredible names out of the bag.
Following the news that Madina Lake are reforming for Slam Dunk to celebrate their tenth anniversary, a total of 11 acts have been added this morning.
They are Deaf Havana, Frank Iero and The Patience, We Are The Ocean, The Maine, Crime In Stereo, Sorority Noise, Too Close To Touch, WSTR, Seaway, Boston Manor and Stray Away From Earth.
The Maine’s John O’Callaghan enthuses: "The British aren't necessarily known for their basketball prowess, but they are known for their domination over rock n roll. Which is why we can't wait to score a homerun and shoot a touchdown at Slam Dunk with this gnarly lineup.”
Henry Cox of Boston Manor adds: "We're really looking forward to playing this year’s Slam Dunk. The festival last year was a real highlight for us. This year is going to be more sweaty and more intense.”
The newly added acts join a phenomenal bill that already boasts Enter Shikari (‘Take To The Skies’ 10 year celebration), Don Broco, Bowling For Soup, Neck Deep, Less Than Jake, Tonight Alive, Beartooth, Against Me!, The Bronx, Reel Big Fish and loads more.
With more acts and seven stage splits still to be unveiled, Slam Dunk 2017 is set to become even bigger and better.
