Foo Fighters will perform live at The BRIT Awards in London next month.

Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee will rock the music industry back-patting event at The O2 Arena on Wednesday 21st February 2018. It will be the first time they’ve ever performed live at the ceremony.

BRITs Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Sony Music UK & Ireland Jason Iley said: “Anyone who was lucky enough to witness one of their shows on the recent sold out UK tour, or their set at Glastonbury - which was undoubtedly one of the best performances the festival has ever seen and a night that will be talked about forever - will know why Foo Fighters are the biggest and most exciting rock band in the world.

“Quite remarkably they have never performed at the BRITs, so I am over the moon to confirm a massive BRITs exclusive to have them grace our stage.”

Foo Fighters have won four BRIT Awards in their career; International Group in 2008, 2012 and 2015 plus International Album for ‘Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace’ in 2008.

Additionally, they were nominated for International Group in 2003 and International Breakthrough Act & International Group in 1996 but missed out.

The BRIT Awards Nominations Launch 2018 takes place at ITV Studios this coming Saturday (13th January) where all the nominees for the 38th BRIT Awards will be unveiled.
