Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl took to the streets of Los Angeles yesterday (14th January) to make meals for those impacted by the devastating wildfires.
Dave Grohl spent his 56th birthday volunteering for the charity Feed The Streets Los Angeles, who are currently supporting people directly affected by the series of wildfires and frontline workers like firefighters.
The non-profit organisation is also continuing to feed homeless people in the Los Angeles region.
Feed The Streets posted an Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon showing Dave Grohl stirring a giant pot of chilli, and a second video of him pushing huge containers along the street.
It was a rare public outing for Dave Grohl after he hit the headlines in September when he announced he’d fathered a baby outside of his marriage.
Foo Fighters went on to cancel their last planned show of 2024 at Connecticut’s Soundside Music Festival and they’re yet to announce any 2025 concerts.
Dave Grohl previously cooked a barbecue for firefighters battling Californian wildfires in late 2018, and he has worked various shifts for charities feeding the homeless.
It emerged over the weekend that Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith was among the thousands of Los Angeles residents who lost their homes to the devastating wildfires.
On Monday, Metallica donated a massive $500,000 (£408,000) to wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles via their All Within My Hands Foundation.
