Drummer plays all 128 Foo Fighters album tracks in marathon 9-hour sitting - watch
To raise money for cancer research
A drummer in Nashville, Tennessee has played along to every Foo Fighters album track in one marathon nine-hour sitting.
Greg Barton took up the epic, nonstop drumming challenge to raise money for cancer research in honour of his grandmother, who is battling the disease.
The musician also dedicated the challenge to late-great Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Barton live-streamed the entire drumming performance from ‘Foo Fighters’ opener ‘This is a Call’ through to ‘But Here We Are’ closer ‘Rest’ on YouTube on Friday (7th June).
The challenge took Barton nine hours and 15 minutes to complete, and, so far, he has raised $7,757 (around £6,100) for the Cancer Research Institute right here.
Writing on social media afterwards, Barton said: “Not only did we smash our fundraising gal, but I made it the distance and had an absolute blast along the way…
“This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. You can see my left hand completely cramp up at song 57 and I truly thought I might DNF (did not finish)…
“I think pure adrenaline carried me through the last three albums.”

Foo Fighters kick off their Everything or Nothing At All UK stadium tour at Manchester Emirates Old Trafford on Thursday night (13th June).
