Fan sleeping on stage through doom metal band’s set becomes Internet hit
Nothing was going to wake him
A video of doom metal band FÓRN performing live has become an Internet hit thanks to a gig-goer who slept throughout the entire performance.
The band took to the stage at a Warehouse in Brooklyn at 3am on Saturday morning, and, despite their trademark highly ominous, voluminous sounds, this did little to stir a man at the front of the crowd.
Having imbibed too much of the demon booze, the man in the red t-shirt is seen slumped with his head in his hands for all 21-minutes of the footage uploaded to YouTube.
Sharing the clip on Facebook, FÓRN wrote: “Apparently, 3am is too late of a set time for some people, like the dude who is passed out on stage the entire time that somehow none of us realized.
“Can somebody check on him and make sure he's not dead?”
Fortunately, the gig-goer in question has since responded to the band on Facebook confirming he is indeed “still alive” and added “I hope to see you guys on a night when I haven’t been drinking all night.”
