Shinedown have exclusively revealed they’re plotting a colossal headline show at Wembley.

Speaking to Kerrang! Radio backstage at Download Festival, where they played The Lemmy Stage before Iron Maiden’s triumphant headline slot on Sunday, guitarist Zach Myers told us he hadn’t told anyone else about his idea – yet.

“I haven’t thrown this out there in an interview yet, I’ve only said it to our people – I would like to, maybe a month after this (Download performance) announce a Wembley show,” Zach said.

“Maybe two other great bands on there and us headline and make that the only central UK show so people would travel.”

Shinedown are playing a string of European festivals this month before embarking on an extensive US tour until late August.
