Is The Dream Over?! Chavril 'Set To Divorce'

Rock's number one couple, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne, are reportedly heading for divorce after just 14 months of marriage.

Chad, 39, and 29-year-old Avril - affectionately known as Chavril - became engaged after one month of dating and tied the knot in the south of France on Canada Day in July 2013.

Now various publications are reporting that the dream is over and their marriage is already doomed. Oh no!

“It's over,” a source told US Weekly. “(Chad) has been going around L.A. and telling people that they're divorcing.”

Another apparent source told the magazine: “Chad is just a complete jerk in the way he talks to her, and the way he talks to people in general. A lot of her friends don't like him.”

Usually gushing on social media platforms, the couple, worth an estimated £65million, have not mentioned each other on Twitter or Facebook for over a month.

In July, Avril posted a photo of the 17-carat ring she received off Chad for their first wedding anniversary – however, the Tweet has since been deleted.

If the divorce rumours are true it will be Avril’s second split before the age of 30. She divorced Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2010 after four years of marriage.

Chad and Avril released the single ‘Let Me Go’ together in October 2013 – however, it only charted at a lowly 66 in the UK.
