Download Festival confirms on-site activities including outdoor cinema and RockFit

Download Festival organisers have revealed the veritable smorgasbord of on-site activities going on in The Download Village this year.
Making its debut this year will be the metal exercise class RockFitâ„¢, which will see fans of all abilities throw shapes to high-octane anthems by AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Slipknot, Def Leppard, Slash and more.
After the rip-roaring success of its inaugural year, DO.OMYOGAâ„¢ will return in 2019. The classes are free and will host up to 250 Metal Yoga enthusiasts, experts and beginners enjoying alternative relaxation and practising their Download-facing Dog to the sound of songs from the heavier end of the music spectrum.
Elsewhere, the will be an array of delights at The SINDROME Arena, Area 51 and their wandering Caravan of Lost Souls, the premiere of the death-defying Thunderdome and the massively popular ‘Demolition Download’ from Battle Heritage will return.
Deep in the Woods in the heart of the Village, The Metal Den can be discovered - where revellers can lay in hammocks and savour Download’s very first Outdoor Cinema The Metal Screen and its hand curated Cineprogram.
The UK Air Guitar Championships also makes its feted return to Download, as does The World’s Greatest Wall of Death and the Circus of Horrors.
Alongside all these delights, The Download Village also hosts a fairground and an array of food and drink stalls.

The blockbuster Download Festival 2019 line-up boasts headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool plus Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Whitesnake, Clutch, Halestorm, Slayer (final UK show), Stone Temple Pilots, Rob Zombie, Anthrax, Blackberry Smoke and many more plus WWE NXT UK returns once again!
