Exactly three weeks before the Donington rock extravaganza kicks off, Download Festival has announced a clutch of new acts and details of their own brand beer.

Aptly named in homage to their beloved mascot The Download Dog, the beer Dogtooth will be available at all bars across the site on the weekend of 10th to 13th June.

Joining the festival line-up are mighty alt-rock heroes InMe, melodic garage rockers The Franklys, Finnish hard rockers Santa Cruz, doom metallers Witchsorrow and Welsh fivesome The Dirty Youth.

Elsewhere in The Download Village, The Side Splitter Stage will play host standups, circus performers and musical comedy from Rob Deering, JollyBoat, Andrew O’Neill, Bethany Black and Kunt and the Gang and loads more.

The area will also play host to the new Circus of Horrors touring show ‘The Never-ending nightmare’, while Area 51’s Caravan of Lost Souls will bring a freaky sideshow of fire breathers, contortion acts and burlesque dancers to the masses.

Other attractions include The Original Wall of Death, the Zorbing Race Circuit, the Inflatable Church, comedy gameshow Bingo With Balls, Demolition Download and The Mayflower Project marquee.

Late night revellers can his The Doghouse and brand new for 2016, The Pound, which hosts a smorgasbord of DJ sets.

Headlined by Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, tickets to Download Festival are on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now.
