A line-up that was eclectic enough to feature both metal legends Judas Priest and pop/rock juggernauts Muse, shows the true diversity of the music we all love.

And judging by the thousands singing along in the on/off rain to the likes of The Darkness, Lamb of God and Faith No More's cover of the Commodores' 'Easy', there was an appetite for anything with a beat.
