Keeping up the ante after the ultra-gory ‘Pretty’ video, Don Broco have unleashed another inspired video for their brand-new song ‘Technology’.

Filmed from a first-person perspective, the video follows an addicted mobile phone user who is so glued to their screen that not even a Don Broco gig, a police chase car crash, an alien abduction, a nuclear apocalypse or a giant flame-throwing cowboy is enough to distract them.

Cast your corneas on the gloriously madcap video here:

Explaining the concept of the song and video, singer Rob Damiani said: “Technology is about a casual swipe through Instagram that ended up in me unfollowing a load of mates.

“In reality my friends are not vain, self-obsessed, PDA loving show offs so I'm blaming social media and the habitual nature of sharing every waking moment of your life online.”

He continued: “We’re all addicted to our phones, so for the video we thought it would be fun to see if an alien invasion was enough for us to put the phones down for a minute… turns out it’s not."

Together with the single and video, there’s also a platform video game coming up that allows fans to immerse themselves in the ‘Technology’ experience.

Available to play at donbroco.com and via the IOS and Android app stores, Rob Damiani says: ”In the video game you get to fight off the alien army as each band member and I shoot microphones out my hands which is pretty awesome.

Meanwhile, Don Broco have confirmed that their good mates State Champs and Counterfeit will be supporting them on their massive London Alexandra Palace show on Saturday 11th November.
