Def Leppard, Whitesnake & Gallows For Hellfest

72 fresh acts are confirmed for the French metal Mecca

Def Leppard have been confirmed as the Friday night headliners at Hellfest 2013!

The Sheffield rock veterans’ bill-topping performance on 21st June will be their first show on French soil in almost seventeen years.

Also amongst the 72 acts confirmed for the festival are Whitesnake and Europe, who both play the Main Stage on Friday, plus Asking Alexandria, Gallows, Lordi, NOFX, P.O.D., Danzig, The Buzzcocks, Ghost, The Toy Dolls, Black Breath, Hellyeah and Prong.

Completing the new additions are deep breath: 7 Weeks, Agnostic Front, Attentat Rock, Audrey Horne, Bane, Belphegor, Berri Txarrak, Black Cobra, Black Pyramid, Bury Your Dead, Casualties, Cockney Rejects, Cult Of Luna, Deez Nuts, Dr Living Dead, Eryn Non Dae, Finntroll Graveyard, Heathen, Hell Militia, High On Fire, Hypocrisy, Justine, Kissin Dynamite, Koldbrann, Krokus, Le Bal Des Enrages, Manilla Road, Master Of Reality, Misanthrope, Misery Index, Monstrosity, Moonspell, Morbid Angel, Pallbearer, Pig Destroyer, Procession, Retox, Riverside, Seth, Six Feet Under, Sleep, Stille Volk, Surtr, Swans, Symphony X, T.A.N.K., The Arrs, The Decline, The Great Old Ones, The Old Dead Tree, The Secret, Treponem Pal, Vektor, Vera Cruz, Voivod and Waltari.

They all join the previously confirmed Saturday night headliner KISS plus the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Papa Roach, ZZ Top, Twisted Sister, Korn, Helloween, Stone Sour and Volbeat.

Hellfest takes place in Clisson, France from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June 2013. Tickets costing €160 for the weekend or €75 per day are on sale now.
