The Foos frontman has thanked the people of Cesena, who put on the epic 1000 person rendition of Learn To Fly
Speaking in Italian in a video message shared on Foo Fighter's Facebook page, Grohl said: "Hello Cesena. It's David. Hi. I am sorry I don't speak Italian, just a bit, a bit. This video, was good! Super nice. Thank you so much. We're coming, I swear. We'll see each other soon. Thank you so much. I love you. "Ciao."

The post is in response to the viral sensation of a group called 'Rockin1000', consisting of 1000 musicians who gathered to perform the Foo Fighters hit 'Learn To Fly', in an attempt to get the band to play a gig in Cesena, Italy. They'll likely be pretty chuffed that Grohl has not only acknowledged their efforts, but seemingly promised to answer their call to perform in the town!
