Dave Grohl, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath Triumph At The Grammys
It's a decent night for rock music
Dave Grohl, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were all big winners at The Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night.
A double winner, Dave Grohl scooped the Best Rock Song gong for his Paul McCartney, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear collaboration ‘Cut Me Some Slack’ and the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for ‘Sound City: Real to Reel.’
Led Zeppelin’s ‘Celebration Day’ was crowned Best Rock Album a full 15 months after it’s release and Black Sabbath deserved won Best Metal Performance for the epic ‘God Is Dead?’
Introduced by Jared Leto, Metallica took to the Staples Center stage to perform a very different (and slightly messy) version of ‘One’ featuring concert pianist Lang Lang.
