Watch: Corey Taylor premieres 'Black Eyes Blue' video
Lifted from his upcoming album 'CMFT'
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has premiered the video for his solo single ‘Black Eyes Blue’.
Currently on heavy rotation on the Kerrang! Radio A-List, rousing rock anthem ‘Black Eyes Blue’ is lifted from Corey Taylor’s debut solo album 'CMFT', which lands on Friday 2nd October via Roadrunner Records.
Directed by DJay Brawner, the ‘Black Eyes Blue’ video sees Corey Taylor escape a forcefield surrounding a remote house in the arid North American desert, before he joins his band mates for the song’s climax.

‘Black Eyes Blue’ was first debuted in late July alongside ‘CMFT Must Be Stopped’ featuring rappers Tech N9ne & Kid Bookie, which is also a huge Kerrang! Radio favourite.
The video saw Taylor taking the CMFT championship wrestling belt and featured cameo appearances from Marilyn Manson, Lars Ulrich, Rob Halford and Chris Jericho, amongst many others.
‘CMFT’ features 14 tracks and it was recorded at Hideout Studio in Las Vegas, with producer Jay Ruston and his band - Christian Martucci (guitar), Zach Throne (guitar), Jason Christopher (bass), and Dustin Robert (drums).
According to Roadrunner, ‘CMFT’ “traces a wild and exhilarating roadmap through Taylor’s musical psyche.”
They add: ‘HWY 666’ kicks off the album barreling ahead with a devilish twang, while ‘Silverfish’ peels back the layers of Taylor’s songwriting as acoustic guitars build to a highwire balance of hooks and heft.
“An ominous bass line gives way to pummelling wah-ed out guitars on ‘Culture Head’ and the moving piano-driven ‘Home’ offers a raw glimpse at Taylor’s immense vocal range.
