My Chemical Romance leave fans salivating after teasing a big announcement!
What could it mean?!
My Chemical Romance fans are exploding with excitement after the band unveiled a video teaser on their social media channels last night.
Completely out of the blue, shortly before 7pm a tantalising 34-second clip was shared on MCR’s Twitter and depicting a flag emblazoned with the band’s insignia blowing in the wind with the plaintive piano intro from ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ forming the backdrop.
The short clip ends with the date 9/23/16 - leaving millions of fans across the globe speculating about what the announcement will be.
In keeping with the clip’s music, the most common suggestion is that it will be a 10th anniversary tour for ‘The Black Parade’ whereas others think it might be a reissue of their seminal album.
Intriguingly, the date in question – 23rd September – is also exactly a month to the very day before the anniversary of ‘The Black Parade’.
Adding weight to the idea of the full reformation, even more intriguingly My Chemical Romance have also deleted their 22nd March 2013 break up announcement Tweet.
Other suggestions are that it will be the follow-up album to 2010’s ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’, a new single or even a rarities collection.
Whatever it is we’ll have to await the announcement with baited breath! Roll on 23rd September!
