Cancer Bats surprise release new album ‘The Spark That Moves’

Cancer Bats have surprise released their sixth studio album ‘The Spark That Moves’.

The Canadian hardcore punks took to their social channels shortly after 5am (BST) this morning to confirm that the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Searching for Zero’ is available to buy now everywhere.

They wrote: “SURPRISE!!! THE SPARK THAT MOVES IS OUT EVERYWHERE!! WE RECORDED THIS IN JANUARY AND DECIDED TO JUST PUT IT OUT FOR ALL OUR AMAZING FANS.

“NO PRE-ORDERS NO HYPE BUILDING JUST F---ING SHREDDING FOR YOU ALL TO ENJOY!!! WE LOVE YOU. WE LOVE THIS RECORD AND WE LOVE ICE CREAM!!”

Cancer Bats are performing their seminal second album ‘Hail Destroyer’ in full at two shows in their native Toronto, Canada this weekend before coming to the UK for four nights at London Underworld next week.
