Bring Me The Horizon played a very special secret set at Reading Festival this afternoon (24th August).
As teased on Twitter beforehand, the Sheffield metalcore heroes took to the packed-to-the-rafters Reading Festival tent at 2.15pm and immediately tore into new single ‘Mantra’ for the first time ever.
You can watch fan-filmed footage of the electric performance right here:
Bring Me The Horizon went on to play seven further tracks during their set; ‘Throne’, ‘Can You Feel My Heart?’, ‘Happy Song’, ‘Follow You’, ‘Shadow Moses’, ‘Antivist’ and ‘Drown’.
New single ‘Mantra’ is lifted from Bring Me The Horizon’s sixth studio ‘amo’, which is unleashed to the world on Friday 11th January 2019 via RCA/Sony.
Oli Sykes says of the record: “amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.”
Ahead of the album’s release, Bring Me The Horizon will embark on a six-date arena tour in November 2018.
Tickets go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 9am on Friday 31st August.
