Brad Pitt is producing a documentary film about Chris Cornell's life
He's working with Chris's wife Vicky
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is co-producing a new documentary film about late Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog singer Chris Cornell.
Variety reports that the film will be produced by Cornell’s widow, Vicky, alongside Brad Pitt and Peter Berg’s Film 45 production company. Acclaimed Patriots Day, Deepwater Horizon and Lone Survivor director Peter Berg will also direct the documentary.
Although they haven’t revealed any further details, a representative for Chris Cornell’s estate corroborated that the documentary is in the works.
Last month, Brad Pitt appeared on stage at the I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell tribute concert at The Forum in Los Angeles to introduce a performance from Cornell’s daughter Toni.
Pitt also posed for photographs with Christopher and Toni Cornell backstage at the 17,000-capacity venue.
Alongside a distinguished acting career, Brad Pitt has produced a number of acclaimed movies including 12 Years a Slave, Moonlight, Selma, Vice and Kick Ass.
