Bon Jovi Waive Gig Fee For Hard Up Spanish Fans

They're playing for free in Madrid

Bon Jovi waived their fee for a gig in Spain next month so that their hard up fans can afford to attend, it’s been revealed.

!The rock veterans won’t receive a penny for their show at the Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid on 27th June - meaning that gig tickets went on sale for a highly reasonable £15 to £33.

Unsurprisingly, fans in the financially unstable nation snapped up all the tickets and the gig is now a complete sell out.

Spanish newspaper El Mundo claims that Spain was originally not going to be a stop-off on the sprawling ‘BECAUSE WE CAN - The Tour’ over fears it wouldn’t sell out.

It was only when Jon Bon Jovi and co. agreed to play for free that organisers went ahead with booking the event.

The UK leg of Bon Jovi’s world tour kicks off at Manchester Etihad Stadium on Saturday 8th June before taking at Birmingham Villa Park, Cardiff City Stadium, Sunderland Stadium of Light, Isle of Wight Festival, Glashow Hampden Park and London Hyde Park.

Tickets are on sale from www.kerrangradio.co.uk/tickets now.
